Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences of West Virginia was established to serve the arts, sciences and technology by bringing together educational exhibits and programs and performances in dance and music. Avampato Discovery Museum features an art museum with temporary, traveling art exhibitions exploring a variety of artistic media; a science hall with over 30 hands-on, interactive science exhibits and  a planetarium with shows every weekend, year round.
